What to expect

How long is a session?

My initial session is 90 minutes for couples and individuals. The fees for initial sessions are high based on the length of time for this session. Following sessions are typically 50 minutes. Clients may request more time if needed prior to a session. Fees adjust accordingly.

What can I expect at my first session?

During our first session we will discuss immediate needs and concerns as well as longer term goals that would make investing in professional therapy a worthwhile endeavor. We will discuss many areas of your current life and determine what areas of your life was working well (strengths) and what areas need more attention, care and support. The idea is to gain a wholistic perspective of your mental wellness and make goals to improve the quality of your life (personally and interpersonally). Pacing is also very important to me. We will not cover everything in one session but it is my hope that at the conclusion of our first session you will know that your mental health matters and that therapy can play in integral part in this fact. You will also know if I am a good fit to guide you in this process. If I am not, it is my hope to assist you in finding a better fit so that you can meet your personal goals.

Do you offer online sessions?

I offer both in-person and virtual sessions. In order to work with me via teletherapy, I will need to assess for appropriateness. Some therapeutic needs are best serviced in person. Based on my clinical experience, I will determine the best way to proceed and assist in making referrals if I am unable to meet your clinical needs.

What are your fees?

My session fees range between $150-275. The length of time, type of service desired (individual, couples) are factors that determine cost. Consultation and speaking fees to be determined based on length of time, modality, etc.

I am a self pay provider which means that I do not contract with insurance companies and I do not file insurance claims. I am able to provide clients with a specific billing receipt that would allow them to file directly with their insurance companies for possible reimbursement. I cannot determine whether an insurance company will reimburse a client for services. There are many factors that determine this and it is important to discuss your reimbursement rates with your insurance provider.

What forms of payment do you accept?

I accept Cash, Credit and Zelle. I am also able to accept FSA and HSA cards.
