I believe that professional counseling/psychotherapy gives us the opportunity to maximize our life’s potential. So, what can this mean for you? Seeking counseling could mean working on relationship struggles that result in a happier, more intimate marriage or partnership. Counseling could mean learning more about depression and then finding ways to manage it and feel better. Counseling could also mean bravely facing a painful past, starting the process of compassionate healing and living more peacefully today.

If you select me as your individual or couples’ therapist, then we will begin a collaborative process of identifying barriers to satisfactory living and relating (internal and external). We will explore the strengths and assets that can assist you in overcoming these barriers. We will track those changes made that help meet or distance you from those goals. I will use my experience, education and continued professional training to provide an emotionally safe place and careful guidance as we confront and manage feelings of pain, anger, depression, insecurity, vulnerability, sadness or whatever else emerges through your “heart work.”
