Counseling Services
I have been working with individuals, couples and families since 1996. I am fortunate and proud to have a culturally diverse clientele. I work with all clients in a manner that is personal, respectful and results-oriented. Whether you are entering therapy for the first time or restarting the therapeutic process, I will ‘meet you where you are’ and help you navigate this process that often yields personal surprises along the way.

My approach to counseling rests on the foundations of cognitive-behavioral, client centered and integrative theories. I want clients to see how thoughts, feelings and behaviors are interrelated and how negative self-talk can minimize or discount life accomplishments. I am client centered in my approach as I believe that a mutual trust, acceptance and adaptability are significant factors in building a counselor and client relationship. It is a privilege to do the work that I do. You are inviting me into your life in a way that is unique and different from the relationship you have with friends, families, loved ones, and employers.

My intention is to work with you in a way that is genuine and empathetic in order to promote personal growth. Finally, since I have years of experience and interest working with a variety of populations with varying concerns, I embrace that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Therapeutic needs begin to change as one works through issues and so I must be able to adjust as well. I enjoy drawing from different therapy models (experiential, reality based, attachment based) in order to provide a therapeutic experience that continuously, ‘meets you where you are.’
